Anders Roxenhag

Anders Roxenhag

Anders Roxenhag is a visual artist working with epoxy resin and MDF, exploring the intersections of material, light, color, and form. His practice involves casting resin blocks, which are then cut, drilled, or routed into layered surfaces that shift with changing light and perspective.

The process is dynamic and open-ended: projects often change direction through mishaps or unexpected outcomes, leaving traces and imperfections that become integral to the work. He typically works with homeopathic levels of coloring—subtle pigments that tint rather than dominate—allowing light and material to define the atmosphere of each piece.

The result is a body of work that could be described as micro-brutalist—raw yet precise, where color, light, and material together transform industrial substances into contemplative objects.
